Secret Gardens

Claudio Missagia brings to life abandoned gardens on his canvases, where nature took back its rights. Those spaces where the passing of time is altered become spiritual shelters, they are serene places to rest.
The artist creates lost paradises in which time has stopped. The wind whispering in the leaves speak of a vanished world, of moments to come, fragile and precious.
Those lush gardens are a bubble of protection, far away from any agitation. They are places of healing. Time stretches and its light heals. The artist invites us to share the benefits of these hidden shelters.

Claudio Missagia was born in 1959 in Valdagno, near Venice. He lives and works between Paris and Veneto in Italy.
