Malo’s work is immediately recognizable. Daily life is transposed into a world of great singularity. Relationships between characters, distance or link, create the very special atmosphere of this artist. His silent and absent-minded characters intrigue. Their banal or grandiose life becomes enigmatic.

Malo tells extraordinary stories with ordinary people, unless it is the other way around. Sublime settings and divine creatures highlight lonely characters. Behind the lens, he plays appearances, the social role of each and redistributes the cards. In a codified society, his images point to the absurdities of a world emptied of meaning.

Malo was born in 1972. He lives and works in Paris.
